2) There will be no score keeping or winners or losers. Emphasis should be on skill
development and having fun.
3) Coaches will decide before play begins which teams will bat first and last.
4) All players on each team will bat each inning.
5) Last player up in inning will hit “Grand Slam” and run all the way around bases.
6) Fielders should be instructed how, and encouraged to try to get batters out,
usually by throwing to 1st base after a batted ball. However, all runners will
remain on their base even if they were out.
7) All players will rotate position every inning and game. Coaches should try to
position their players in the field by spacing them out throughout the infield.
8) Regulation Tee-balls will be used only. (No Baseballs).
9) Coaches may choose to use the “TEE” or pitch to their players. If pitched, after
five pitches the batter has not hit the ball, the tee must be used.
10) All players should make contact and put the ball in play before running to 1st
base.
11) The only players allowed off the bench are the batter and the on-deck batter. All
other players should be seated on the bench in the order in which they are to bat.
12) Helmets are required.
13) If a player is hurt, the game will stop immediately and all players will sit where
they are until the game resumes.
14) In the event of thunder and lightning, the game will stop immediately.
15) In case of inclement weather prior to a game, coaches should decide as soon as
possible if they are going to cancel game, so that players can be notified. League
coordinator should be notified asap of any canceled games.
16) Coaches should try to make up any rained out games.
17) Coaches should maintain a good sportsmanship during the game and after the
game finishing in a polite hand shake.
These Guidelines are flexible and should be used with discretion. If you feel that
something can be improved upon, please bring it to the attention of the coaches and
the coordinator.
